Indications

Acetraz is indicated for the treatment of women with hormone receptor-positive early-stage breast cancer, as well as for adjuvant treatment after surgery and radiation therapy. It is also used in patients with advanced breast cancer, in those who have progressed after tamoxifen treatment. Anastrozole acts as an aromatase inhibitor, decreasing estrogen production, which is crucial in certain types of breast cancer that depend on these hormones for their growth.

Composition

Each Acetraz tablet contains 1 mg of anastrozole as an active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients such as lactose monohydrate, corn starch, and other inactive components that allow for proper drug formulation.

Contraindications

Acetraz is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to anastrozole or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be administered to pregnant or breastfeeding women, as it may cause harm to the fetus or infant.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of heart disease, osteoporosis, or an increased risk of fractures. Regular medical follow-up is important to assess treatment response and manage any adverse effects that may arise.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
