Indications

Acetif is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate pain, such as headache, muscle pain, sore throat, dental pain, and menstrual pain. It is also effective as an antipyretic for fever control. This medication works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system, providing pain relief and reducing body temperature in cases of fever.

Composition

Each Acetif tablet contains 500 mg of paracetamol as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients that facilitate the formulation and stability of the product.

Contraindications

Acetif is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any other component of the formulation. It should not be administered to patients with severe liver disease or those who consume excessive alcohol.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with mild to moderate liver disease, as well as in those who present dehydration or malnutrition. It is important not to exceed the recommended dose to avoid the risk of liver toxicity. Concomitant use with other medications containing paracetamol should be avoided.

Storage

Store the product in its original packaging, at room temperature, protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
