Indications
Acemetacin is indicated for the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with various conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It is also used for the management of acute and chronic pain, as well as in postoperative processes. Its anti-inflammatory and analgesic action is due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis, which contributes to the reduction of pain and inflammation. Patient evaluation is recommended to determine appropriate use and duration of treatment, considering their medical history and the presence of comorbidities.
Composition
Each Ultra Capsule contains 90 mg of Acemetacin as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.
Contraindications
Acemetacin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to acemetacin or any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of active gastric or duodenal ulcers, severe renal insufficiency, severe hepatic insufficiency, as well as in patients who have experienced adverse reactions to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is also contraindicated during the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal disease, hypertension, heart failure, or kidney disease. Regular monitoring of renal and hepatic function is recommended during treatment. Likewise, the patient should be informed about the possibility of adverse reactions and the need to discontinue treatment if any unusual symptoms occur.

Store at room temperature, in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and out of the reach of children.
