Indications

Accocept is indicated for the prevention of rejection in solid organ transplants, such as kidney, heart, and liver, in combination with other immunosuppressants. Additionally, it is used in the treatment of autoimmune diseases, such as systemic lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis, where suppression of the immune response is required to control disease progression. Its action is based on the inhibition of nucleotide synthesis in T and B cells, which contributes to the reduction of immunological activity. It is important to note that the use of Accocept must be carefully monitored by a healthcare professional to avoid complications and adverse effects.

Composition

Each Accocept tablet contains 500 mg of mycophenolic acid as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate its formulation and administration.

Contraindications
