Indications

Abrixone is indicated for the treatment of disorders associated with alcohol consumption, including withdrawal syndrome and alcohol dependence. In addition, it is used in the management of liver disorders, as metadoxine helps in the recovery of liver function and the improvement of biochemical parameters in patients with alcohol-induced liver damage. It may also be useful in the treatment of acute alcohol intoxication, facilitating its elimination from the body.

Composition

Each Abrixone tablet contains: 500 mg of Metadoxine as the active ingredient. Excipients: Lactose, starch, microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium stearate.

Contraindications

Abrixone is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to metadoxine or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver diseases or those with severe renal insufficiency.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, as well as in those who are being treated with other medications that affect liver function. It is important to monitor liver function in patients receiving long-term treatment. The use of Abrixone is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation, unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
