Indications
Abrixone is indicated for the treatment of disorders related to alcohol consumption, as metadoxine acts by facilitating ethanol metabolism and reducing its harmful effects on the body. Furthermore, its use is indicated in patients with hepatic alterations who require treatment that promotes the recovery of liver function. Its use is also suggested in situations of acute alcohol intoxication, helping to reduce associated symptoms and facilitate detoxification.
Composition
Each Abrixone tablet contains 500 mg of metadoxine as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that allow for the proper formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to metadoxine or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women, unless deemed necessary by a physician.
Precautions
Special care should be taken in patients with severe liver diseases, as well as in those with a history of seizure disorders. Liver function monitoring is recommended during treatment. It should not be combined with other medications without the supervision of a healthcare professional.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
