Indications

Abretia (Duloxetine) is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and diabetic neuropathic pain. This medication works by inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine, which helps to improve mood and relieve anxiety. It is also used for the management of chronic pain and certain muscular pain conditions.

Composition

Each Abretia capsule contains 60 mg of Duloxetine, as well as excipients that enable the formulation of the medication.

Contraindications

Abretia is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Duloxetine or any of the components of the formulation. It should not be administered in combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or in patients with severe liver disease or severe renal insufficiency.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver disorders, manic-depressive disorder, or a history of suicide. It is important to monitor blood pressure in patients receiving Duloxetine treatment. It is also recommended to evaluate for the appearance of serotonin syndrome symptoms, especially if combined with other medications that affect serotonin.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Storage temperature should not exceed 30°C.
