Indications

Abcito (Fexuprazan) is indicated for the treatment of disorders related to gastric hypersecretion. It is used in the management of conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), gastric and duodenal ulcers, as well as in the treatment of erosive gastritis. Its mechanism of action is based on the inhibition of the proton pump, which reduces gastric acid production and provides relief from symptoms associated with these conditions.

Composition

Each Abcito tablet contains 40 mg of Fexuprazan as an active ingredient. Excipients include: microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide.

Contraindications

Abcito is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Fexuprazan or to any of the excipients in the formulation. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to other proton pump inhibitors.

Precautions

Caution is advised in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease, as well as in those taking medications that may interact with Fexuprazan. It is important to perform adequate medical monitoring during treatment, especially in prolonged treatments, due to the risk of adverse effects associated with the reduction of gastric acid secretion.

Storage

Store in its original container, at room temperature (between 15 and 30°C), in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
