Indications
A.S-Cor Drops is indicated for the treatment of conditions requiring a vasoconstrictive effect, such as hypotension, the treatment of some types of shock, and in emergency situations where an increase in blood pressure is required. Additionally, it can be used in the management of certain conditions involving nasal congestion, providing symptomatic relief. It is important that its use be supervised by a doctor, who will evaluate the need and the appropriate dosage for each patient.
Composition
Each 1 ml of A.S-Cor Drops contains Norfenefrine 1 g as an active ingredient. It also contains excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
The use of A.S-Cor Drops is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to norfenefrine or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its administration is not recommended in patients with severe cardiovascular diseases, uncontrolled hypertension, and in those who are undergoing treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in its use in patients with diabetes, hyperthyroidism, and in those with mental health problems. It is essential to monitor the patient's blood pressure and clinical status during treatment. Prolonged use can cause adverse effects, so continuous medical monitoring is suggested.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
