Indications
A.F. Valdecasas is indicated for the prevention and treatment of folic acid deficiency. This medication is essential during pregnancy, as it contributes to the proper development of the fetus and helps prevent neural tube defects. It is also used in the treatment of megaloblastic anemias and in patients with nutrient malabsorption. Its use is recommended for people with conditions that require an increased intake of folic acid, such as women of childbearing age and those planning a pregnancy.
Composition
Each tablet contains 5 mg of folic acid. Excipients: starch, lactose, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to folic acid or any of the formula's components. Its use is not recommended in cases of undiagnosed anemias, as it may mask vitamin B12 deficiencies.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of seizures, as well as in those with medical conditions that require medical supervision. It is important to make an adequate diagnosis of the conditions that justify folic acid supplementation before starting treatment.
Storage
Keep the product in its original packaging, at room temperature (between 15 and 30°C), in a dry place and away from light. Keep out of reach of children.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
