Indications

A-D-Kan is indicated for the prevention and treatment of vitamin A and D deficiencies in at-risk populations, as well as in conditions requiring an increased intake of these vitamins. It can be used in cases of intestinal malabsorption, malnutrition, and in patients with chronic diseases affecting nutrient absorption. It is especially useful for individuals with specific deficiencies in these vitamins, contributing to eye health, immune function, and calcium regulation in the body. A-D-Kan is also recommended for the development and maintenance of healthy bones and teeth. In some cases, it can be used to prevent certain conditions related to the deficiency of these vitamins.

Composition

Each ampule of A-D-Kan contains:

  • Retinol (Vitamin A) 6000 IU
  • Ergocalciferol (Vitamin D2) 400 IU

Contraindications

A-D-Kan should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Likewise, its use is contraindicated in individuals with hypervitaminosis A or D. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver diseases or severe renal failure.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using A-D-Kan in patients with liver diseases, as well as in those who are taking additional vitamin A or D supplements. Regular medical monitoring is important to avoid toxicity due to the accumulation of these vitamins. It is recommended to evaluate blood levels of vitamins A and D before starting treatment.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
