Indications
Raamcinet 10 mg is indicated for the treatment of allergic symptoms, including seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, as well as chronic idiopathic urticaria. Its antihistamine action helps relieve symptoms such as sneezing, nasal and eye itching, and runny nose. In addition, it is effective in managing itching and inflammation associated with allergic skin reactions. Raamcinet works by blocking histamine H1 receptors, which reduces the body's allergic response.
Composition
Each Raamcinet tablet contains 10 mg of cetirizine as the active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for the drug's formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cetirizine or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of seizures or epilepsy.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Raamcinet to patients who perform activities requiring alertness, such as driving or operating heavy machinery, as it may cause drowsiness in some individuals. Dosage adjustment is recommended in patients with renal insufficiency. Furthermore, its concomitant use with alcohol and other central nervous system depressants should be avoided.
