Indications
Ordegan is indicated for the treatment of acute moderate to severe pain. Its combination of Ketorolac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that acts as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory, and Tramadol, an opioid analgesic, provides a synergistic effect that can result in effective pain relief. This medication can be used in postoperative cases, cancer-related pain, and post-traumatic pain. Its use is recommended under strict medical supervision, especially in patients with pre-existing conditions that may increase the risk of adverse effects.
Composition
Each Ordegan capsule contains:
- Ketorolac: 10 mg
- Tramadol: 25 mg
Contraindications
The use of Ordegan is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Ketorolac, Tramadol, or any component of the formulation. It should not be administered to patients with active peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, or those with severe renal insufficiency. Furthermore, its use is contraindicated in pregnant or breastfeeding women without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Special care should be taken when administering Ordegan to patients with a history of gastrointestinal disorders, hepatic or renal insufficiency, as well as those who are undergoing treatment with anticoagulants.
