Indications

Luminovag is indicated for the treatment of intestinal infections caused by helminths, specifically in infections caused by Giardia species. This medication works by eliminating parasites from the intestine, interfering with their metabolism and reproduction, which contributes to the improvement of the patient's health. Its use is recommended in combination with appropriate hygienic and dietary measures to ensure parasite eradication and prevent reinfection.

Composition

Each Luminovag tablet contains 100 mg of Quinfamide as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that allow for the proper formulation of the medication.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to quinfamide or any of the components of the formula. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of severe liver or kidney disease.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases or who are receiving treatments that may affect the metabolism of antiparasitics. During treatment, it is important to monitor the patient's clinical response. Luminovag is not recommended for use in children under 2 years of age without medical supervision.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
