Indications
Collifrin Spray is indicated for the temporary relief of nasal congestion associated with colds, sinusitis, and allergies. This medication acts as a decongestant that provides a rapid effect to facilitate breathing by reducing swelling and congestion in the mucous membranes of the nose. It is useful in situations where immediate relief from nasal obstruction is required, such as in cases of allergic rhinitis, common colds, or during airplane travel and other scenarios where pressure in the paranasal sinuses can be uncomfortable.
Composition
Oxymetazoline 0.05% as active ingredient.
Contraindications
Collifrin Spray is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to oxymetazoline or any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe cardiovascular conditions, uncontrolled hypertension, or untreated thyroid disease. Likewise, its use in children under six years of age must be supervised by a physician.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of respiratory problems, diabetes mellitus, and in those who are being treated with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs). Prolonged use of the medication may cause rhinitis medicamentosa or a rebound effect in nasal congestion. Therefore, it is recommended not to exceed the recommended dose or the duration of treatment.

Store at room temperature, in a dry and cool place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
