Indications
Bromazepam is indicated for the treatment of anxiety disorders, as well as for the short-term therapy of anxiety-related disorders. Its anxiolytic action helps reduce tension and restlessness, providing relief in stressful situations. It is also used in the management of symptoms associated with sleep disorders, contributing to the improvement of sleep quality in patients with psychosocial insomnia. Additionally, it can be used as an adjuvant in the treatment of panic disorders.
Composition
Each Bromazepam 3 mg tablet contains bromazepam as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients necessary for the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to bromazepam or other benzodiazepines, as well as in those with myasthenia gravis, severe sleep apnea, and severe respiratory insufficiency. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of substance abuse or drug dependence.
Precautions
Special care should be taken in patients with a history of liver or kidney diseases, as well as in those who are undergoing treatment with other central nervous system depressants. Prolonged use of bromazepam can lead to physical and psychological dependence. It is recommended to avoid alcohol intake during treatment, as it can enhance the sedative effects of the medication.
