Indications
Zaldiar is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain, which may be of postoperative, oncological, or traumatic origin. The combination of paracetamol and tramadol provides a synergistic analgesic effect, increasing the efficacy in pain control. This medication is used in patients who have not responded adequately to conventional analgesics and who require a more potent approach to pain management.
Composition
Each Zaldiar tablet contains 37.5 mg of tramadol and 325 mg of paracetamol as active ingredients. In addition, it contains excipients such as starch, microcrystalline cellulose, and magnesium stearate, which aid in the formulation and stability of the product.
Contraindications
Zaldiar is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with acute intoxication by alcohol, hypnotics, narcotic analgesics, or psychotropics. Likewise, its use is contraindicated in patients with a history of uncontrolled epilepsy or seizures.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in the use of Zaldiar in patients with a history of liver disorders, as it may alter the metabolism of the active components. It is also recommended to monitor patients with a history of substance abuse, respiratory disorders, or those who are receiving other medications that may potentiate its effects.
Storage
Store at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
