Indications
Valtrover M Mast (Montelukast) is indicated for the prevention and relief of asthma symptoms, including bronchoconstriction and difficulty breathing. It is also used for the treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, as well as for the prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm. Its use is recommended in patients older than 6 months, according to medical evaluation. This medication acts as a leukotriene receptor antagonist, which helps reduce inflammation and constriction of the airways.
Composition
Each tablet of Valtrover M Mast contains 5 mg of Montelukast as an active ingredient, as well as excipients that allow the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Montelukast or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Valtrover M Mast to patients with moderate liver disease, a history of psychiatric disorders, or those with severe asthma symptoms. It is important to monitor patients for any changes in their condition. Asthma treatment should not be interrupted when starting this medication.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
