Indications

Valtrover G (Montelukast) is indicated for the treatment and control of asthma symptoms in adult and pediatric patients from 2 years of age. Additionally, it is used for the treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis in patients from 2 years of age. This medication works by blocking leukotriene receptors, which helps reduce inflammation, bronchoconstriction, and other symptoms associated with these respiratory conditions.

Composition

Each sachet of Valtrover G contains 4 mg of montelukast as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate the product's formulation, ensuring its stability and efficacy.

Contraindications

Valtrover G is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to montelukast or any of the excipients that make up the medication. Likewise, it should not be used as emergency treatment for acute asthma attacks.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with severe liver diseases, as drug elimination may be affected. It is recommended to monitor patients who experience changes in behavior or psychological symptoms, as adverse effects in this regard have been reported. Inhaled corticosteroid treatment should not be interrupted without proper medical supervision.
