Indications

Tradol Retard 100 mg is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain. It is used in clinical situations where effective pain management is required, such as in cases of postoperative pain, oncological pain, or chronic pain that does not respond adequately to other analgesics. Its action is based on the inhibition of serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake, which helps to effectively relieve pain.

Composition

Each Tradol Retard tablet contains 100 mg of Tramadol and excipients necessary for its formulation.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Tramadol or any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of acute intoxication by alcohol, opioid analgesics, or psychotropic drugs. In addition, its use is contraindicated in patients with uncontrolled epilepsy or in those who are receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Tradol Retard to patients with a history of drug or alcohol abuse, central nervous system depression, or who are being treated with other drugs that may depress respiratory function. It is also recommended to adjust the dose in patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency.

Store at room temperature, in a dry and cool place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
