Indications
Tradol is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain in adults. This medication acts on the central nervous system, providing pain relief in various conditions, including postoperative pain, pain associated with injuries, and chronic pain. Tradol can be used in situations where other analgesics, such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), are not sufficient to control pain. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions to determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment, as the response to the medication may vary depending on each patient.
Composition
Each Tradol capsule contains 50 mg of Tramadol, as well as excipients necessary for the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
Tradol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to tramadol or any of the components of the formula. Likewise, it should not be used in patients with acute intoxication by alcohol, hypnotics, central-acting analgesics, or in those with medical conditions that may be aggravated by its use, such as respiratory distress syndrome or uncontrolled seizures.
Precautions
Special care should be taken in patients with a history of substance abuse or dependence, as well as in those with respiratory problems or seizure disorders. Tradol may cause drowsiness or dizziness; therefore, it is recommended to avoid activities that require mental alertness, such as driving vehicles or operating heavy machinery, during treatment. In addition, a doctor should be consulted before combining this medication with other drugs, especially those that affect the central nervous system.
Storage
Store Tradol in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from direct light and out of the reach of children. Do not use the medication after the expiration date indicated on the package.
