Indications

Tradol is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain, as well as for pain management in patients with acute and chronic conditions. This medication acts on the central nervous system, modulating the perception and response to pain. It can be used in the management of postoperative pain, oncological pain, and other types of pain requiring effective control. Given its analgesic activity, Tradol is useful in patients who do not respond adequately to other conventional analgesics.

Composition

Each ampoule of Tradol contains 100 mg of Tramadol as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients necessary for the formulation of the product.

Contraindications

Tradol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to tramadol or any of the excipients. Its use is not recommended in patients who present acute intoxication by alcohol, hypnotics, analgesics, opioids, or any other medication that affects the central nervous system. It is also contraindicated in patients with uncontrolled epilepsy and in those who are receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of drug or alcohol abuse, as well as in those with compromised hepatic or renal function. Tradol can cause physical and psychological dependence; therefore, it should be used with caution in patients requiring prolonged treatment. Patients should be monitored for the possibility of adverse effects, especially at the beginning of treatment and during dose adjustment.

Storage

Store Tradol at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep the medication out of reach of children and protect from light and moisture.
