Indications
Teroxina is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections caused by susceptible microorganisms. It is effective in the treatment of upper and lower respiratory tract infections, as well as skin and soft tissue infections. This medication is indicated for the management of pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media, and pneumonia. Additionally, it is used in the treatment of urinary tract infections and in the prophylaxis of infections in surgical procedures. The choice of Teroxina should be based on the sensitivity of the microorganisms causing the infection, as well as the clinical evaluation of the patient.
Composition
Each capsule contains 500 mg of cefadroxil as the active ingredient. Excipients: talc, gelatin, colorants, among others.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cephalosporins or any component of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to penicillins, due to possible cross-reactivity.
Precautions
Caution is advised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, especially colitis. Renal function should be evaluated before starting treatment, as dose adjustment may be necessary in patients with renal impairment. In case of any adverse reaction, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
