Indications
Sirza is indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, especially in overweight patients. This medication helps improve blood glucose control by acting on insulin resistance and reducing hepatic glucose production. In addition, Resveratrol, a natural polyphenol, can contribute to cardiovascular health and improved insulin sensitivity. It is important that the use of this medication is accompanied by an adequate diet and physical exercise.
Composition
Each Sirza tablet contains 500 mg of Metformin and an adequate amount of Resveratrol. The formulation is designed to optimize absorption and treatment efficacy.
Contraindications
Sirza is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to metformin or Resveratrol, as well as in those with severe renal insufficiency, diabetic ketoacidosis, or severe metabolic diseases. Its use is not recommended in patients with gastrointestinal disorders that may affect the absorption of the medication.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Sirza to patients with a history of liver or kidney disease, as well as in those who consume alcohol, as this may increase the risk of lactic acidosis. It is essential to regularly monitor blood glucose levels and kidney function during treatment.
