Indications
Sideril is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, and as an adjunct in the treatment of sleep disorders. Trazodone, its active ingredient, works by modulating neurotransmitter activity in the brain, which helps to improve mood and regulate the sleep cycle. It can also be useful in managing agitation in patients with psychiatric disorders and in treating symptoms associated with mood disorders.
Composition
Each Sideril capsule contains 50 mg of trazodone as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients necessary for the capsule formulation.
Contraindications
Its use is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to trazodone or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its administration is not recommended in patients receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), nor in those who have received such treatment within the last two weeks. Furthermore, it is contraindicated in patients with a history of cardiac arrhythmias or severe hepatic insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of heart disease, seizures, or those who are being treated with other antidepressants. The appearance of adverse effects should be monitored, especially at the beginning of treatment. Likewise, it is recommended to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment, as it can enhance the sedative effects of trazodone.

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
