Indications
Senosiain Adult Sup 2623mg is indicated for the treatment of occasional constipation in adults. Glycerol, its active component, acts as an osmotic laxative, helping to increase moisture in the stool, thus facilitating its expulsion. This medication may be useful in situations where rapid relief from constipation is required, such as before medical or surgical procedures, or in patients requiring bowel management due to specific health conditions.
Composition
Each Senosiain Adult suppository contains 2623 mg of glycerol as the active ingredient. Additionally, it may contain excipients to facilitate its formulation and stability.
Contraindications
This product is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to glycerol or any of the components of the formula. It should not be used in cases of intestinal obstruction, appendicitis, or inflammatory bowel diseases. Its use in patients with kidney or heart disease should be evaluated by a physician.
Precautions
It is recommended to use Senosiain Adult with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal problems, such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. Likewise, it should be administered with care in older people, as they may be more susceptible to side effects. The recommended dose should not be exceeded, and a doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist.
