Indications

Rezplen is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract, such as sinusitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia. It is also used in the management of respiratory diseases where a mucolytic is required to facilitate the expulsion of secretions, thus improving respiratory function. The combination of Clarithromycin and Ambroxol allows for targeting bacterial infection and, at the same time, reducing mucus viscosity, facilitating its elimination. It is important to follow medical instructions to ensure the effectiveness of the treatment.

Composition

Each 5 ml of suspension contains 250 mg of Clarithromycin and 15 mg of Ambroxol.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to macrolide antibiotics. Caution should be exercised in patients with severe renal or hepatic insufficiency, as well as those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using Rezplen in patients who are being treated with other medications that may interact with Clarithromycin. Liver function tests are recommended for patients who show signs of liver dysfunction. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.

Storage

Store at room temperature, in a dry and cool place, out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
