Indications

Portem is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain, including headaches, muscle aches, arthralgia, and postoperative pain. Additionally, it is used for fever reduction in hyperthermia. It is a drug of choice for patients requiring an effective and well-tolerated analgesic.

Composition

Each Portem tablet contains 750 mg of paracetamol as the active ingredient. Excipients: starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and other non-pharmacological excipients.

Contraindications

Portem is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be administered in cases of severe hepatic insufficiency or active liver disease, nor in individuals who regularly consume large amounts of alcohol.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with liver disease, kidney disease, and those who are malnourished or dehydrated. Concomitant administration of other paracetamol-containing medications should be avoided to prevent the risk of overdose. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions regarding dosage and duration of treatment.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
