Indications

Pk-Merz is indicated for the treatment and prevention of influenza A virus infection. Additionally, it is used in the management of Parkinson's disease and in the treatment of dyskinesia in patients with Parkinson's disease. Amantadine can help improve mobility and reduce symptoms of rigidity and tremor. It is important that the use of this medication be supervised by a healthcare professional, who can determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment according to the patient's specific needs.

Composition

Each Pk-Merz tablet contains 100 mg of amantadine, as well as excipients that allow for the formulation of the product. Excipients may include, but are not limited to, substances that facilitate the dissolution and absorption of the active ingredient in the body.

Contraindications

Pk-Merz is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to amantadine or any component of the formula. Caution should also be exercised in patients with a history of seizures, renal failure, or those with health problems that may be affected by the use of this medication.

Precautions

Regular medical monitoring is recommended during treatment with Pk-Merz, especially in patients with heart, liver, or kidney diseases.
