Indications
Mitzoratta is indicated for the treatment of arterial hypertension in adults. This medication is used to help lower high blood pressure, which in turn reduces the risk of cardiovascular complications such as heart attacks or strokes. Olmesartan administration is suitable for patients with essential hypertension who do not have complicated comorbidities. Its use is indicated as monotherapy or in combination with other antihypertensives to achieve adequate blood pressure control.
Composition
Each Mitzoratta tablet contains 20 mg of Olmesartan medoxomil as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that allow for the formulation of the product, which are: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, starch, among others.
Contraindications
The use of Mitzoratta is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Olmesartan or any of the product's excipients. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of angioedema related to previous treatments with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs). It is also contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency, as well as in those with renal artery stenosis. Regular monitoring of blood pressure and renal function is important during treatment. Avoid concomitant use with other antihypertensives without medical supervision.
Storage
Store in its original packaging, at room temperature, protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
