Indications

Mabthera (Rituximab) is indicated for the treatment of various hematological and oncological conditions, including:

  • Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) in combination with chemotherapy.
  • B-cell Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, including follicular lymphoma and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, in combination with chemotherapy.
  • Active rheumatoid arthritis in adult patients, in combination with methotrexate, when the response to previous treatments has been inadequate.
  • Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (formerly known as Wegener's Granulomatosis) and microscopic polyangiitis, in combination with glucocorticoids.

Composition

Each vial contains 100 mg of Rituximab, as well as necessary excipients for its formulation.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Rituximab or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be administered to patients with severe active infections.

Precautions

Careful monitoring of patients during and after infusion is recommended, especially in those with a history of allergic reactions or heart problems. It is important to evaluate liver function and the presence of infections before initiating treatment. Vaccination should be assessed before therapy with Mabthera.

Storage

Store refrigerated between 2 °C and 8 °C. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
