Indications
Lurmivi is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to its components. It is used in the management of bacterial and parasitic infections, as well as vaginal fungal infections. The combination of Tinidazole and Clindamycin is effective against various species of protozoa and anaerobic bacteria, while Fluconazole acts against fungal infections. Its use is recommended in cases of bacterial vaginosis, Trichomonas infections, and vaginal candidiasis, as well as in infections of the genital tract and other soft tissues. Its use must be supervised by a medical professional to ensure correct indication and dosage according to the patient's pathology.
Composition
Each Lurmivi tablet contains:
- Tinidazole: 500 mg
- Clindamycin: 312.5 mg
- Fluconazole: 37.50 mg
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to the components of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to other antibiotics of the same class. Its use is also contraindicated in cases of severe liver failure and during pregnancy, unless the benefits outweigh the potential risks.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Lurmivi to patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, liver or kidney disorders. It is important to monitor the patient during treatment, especially in those with pre-existing conditions that may affect drug metabolism. Concurrent administration with other drugs should be evaluated by a physician to avoid drug interactions.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
