Indications

Lorotec F is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe pain, including postoperative pain, pain associated with musculoskeletal diseases, and pain related to menstrual cramps. This medication works by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are responsible for mediating pain and inflammation. Its use should always be under medical supervision, especially in patients with a history of gastric ulcers, kidney problems, or those taking anticoagulants.

Composition

Each Lorotec F tablet contains 30 mg of Ketorolac as tromethamine, as well as excipients that allow for the product's formulation.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Ketorolac or any component of the formula. It should not be used in patients with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding, severe kidney failure, or in those who have undergone coronary bypass surgery. Likewise, its use is not recommended in pregnant women, especially during the third trimester, and during lactation, unless evaluated and decided by a doctor.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, asthma, or in those who consume alcohol or have a history of drug use. It is important to monitor kidney function, especially during prolonged treatments. Its use in combination with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may increase the risk of adverse effects.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
