Indications
Laritol is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis in adults and children over 2 years of age. This includes symptoms such as sneezing, rhinorrhea (nasal discharge), itching of the nose or throat, and watery or itchy eyes. Additionally, it is used for the relief of chronic idiopathic urticaria, providing a reduction in itching and the appearance of hives on the skin.
Composition
Each Laritol tablet contains 10 mg of Loratadine as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that facilitate its formulation and administration.
Contraindications
Laritol is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Loratadine or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without proper medical consultation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with hepatic impairment, as the pharmacokinetics of loratadine may be altered. It is also important to avoid concomitant administration with alcohol and other central nervous system depressants, as this could potentiate their sedative effects. Although Loratadine does not usually cause sedation, some individuals may experience adverse effects. Medical monitoring is recommended if unusual symptoms occur.
Storage
Store in its original packaging at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
