Indications

Kesipril is indicated for the treatment of essential arterial hypertension. It is also used in patients with congestive heart failure, as well as in the management of diabetic nephropathy in type 2 diabetic patients. Additionally, it can be used for the prevention of cardiovascular events in high-risk individuals, such as those with a history of myocardial infarction or stroke. Lisinopril administration must be under medical supervision, with the dosage adjusted according to the patient's response and clinical conditions.

Composition

Each tablet contains: Lisinopril 10 mg as active ingredient. Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, starch, magnesium stearate, among others.

Contraindications

Kesipril is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to lisinopril or any other component of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with a history of angioedema associated with previous ACE inhibitor treatments. Its use is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with renal artery stenosis, renal failure, liver diseases, as well as in those receiving diuretics or undergoing dialysis treatments. It is important to monitor renal function and blood electrolytes, especially at the beginning of treatment or when increasing the dose.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children.
