Indications

Ibuprofen 200 mg is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain, including headache, dental pain, muscle pain, and dysmenorrhea. It is also used to reduce fever in cases of infections and viral diseases. Its action is based on the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, which are mediators of pain and inflammation. Additionally, it can be used in the management of rheumatic conditions, such as arthritis, providing relief from associated inflammation and pain.

Composition

Each tablet contains: Ibuprofen 200 mg as active ingredient. Excipients: lactose, starch, magnesium stearate and others.

Contraindications

The use of Ibuprofen is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or any other component of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with a history of active peptic ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, or coagulation disorders. It is contraindicated in the third trimester of pregnancy due to the risk of adverse effects on the fetus.

Precautions

Ibuprofen should be used with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal disease, renal or hepatic insufficiency, hypertension, and those taking anticoagulants or medications that affect coagulation. It is important to monitor kidney function and blood pressure in patients requiring prolonged treatments.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
