Indications
Ferdimin is indicated for the treatment of respiratory diseases involving bronchial obstruction and excessive mucus production. It is useful in the therapy of conditions such as chronic bronchitis, asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Theophylline acts as a bronchodilator, facilitating breathing by relaxing the muscles of the airways, while Ambroxol helps to thin bronchial secretions, promoting their expulsion and improving pulmonary ventilation. This medication is particularly useful in patients with difficulty expectorating, contributing to the improvement of respiratory function.
Composition
Each 100 mL of Ferdimin contains: Theophylline 700 mg and Ambroxol 150 mg. Excipients: purified water, hydrochloric acid, among others.
Contraindications
Ferdimin is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Theophylline, Ambroxol, or any of the excipients in the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe heart disease, a history of seizures, or active peptic ulcer. Furthermore, it should be avoided in cases of severe liver failure.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, epilepsy, or liver disease. It is recommended to monitor blood Theophylline levels in patients who are being treated with other medications that may interfere with its metabolism. During pregnancy and lactation, its use should be evaluated by a doctor.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
