Indications
Exel Gel 1% (Meloxicam) is indicated for the treatment of pain and inflammation associated with conditions such as arthritis, osteoarthritis, tendonitis, and other rheumatic diseases. Its use is efficient for relieving acute and chronic pain in various parts of the body, as well as for treating musculoskeletal injuries. Its effectiveness has also been demonstrated in the management of postoperative pain and in the relief of painful symptoms after sports injuries. It is recommended to apply the gel directly to the skin in the affected area, following the doctor's instructions to optimize its analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect.
Composition
Each 100 g of Exel Gel contains 1 g of Meloxicam as the active ingredient, as well as excipients that favor the formulation and effect of the gel. The formulation allows for rapid absorption through the skin, providing localized and effective relief.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Meloxicam or any of the product's excipients. It should not be administered in cases of active peptic ulcer, severe renal insufficiency, or in patients with a history of allergic reactions to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Likewise, it is contraindicated in the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal problems, heart failure, hypertension, or kidney diseases. It is important that the product is used under the supervision of a doctor, especially in prolonged treatments or in vulnerable populations such as the elderly or patients with comorbidities. Use on damaged or irritated skin is not recommended.
Storage
Store at room temperature, in a dry and cool place, protected from direct light and out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
