Indications
Evastel Z is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, such as nasal congestion, sneezing, nasal and ocular itching, and nasal discharge. In addition, it is used in the treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria and other allergic skin manifestations. Ebastine acts as a selective antagonist of histamine H1 receptors, which reduces the undesirable effects of histamine in the body, thus relieving allergic symptoms.
Composition
Each Evastel Z wafer contains 20 mg of ebastine as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that allow for the proper formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
Evastel Z is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ebastine or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use should also be avoided in patients with severe renal insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of liver diseases, as well as in those who are being treated with other medications that may affect the central nervous system. The use of this medication in combination with alcohol is not recommended, as it may enhance its sedative effects. In case of any adverse effects, a doctor should be consulted immediately.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees Celsius. Keep out of reach of children.
