Indications
Evastel (ebastine) is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of allergic reactions, including seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, as well as chronic idiopathic urticaria. Its antihistamine action helps to relieve symptoms such as sneezing, nasal itching, rhinorrhea, and nasal congestion. It is also used in the management of skin symptoms associated with allergic conditions, providing a rapid and prolonged effect.
Composition
Each tablet contains 10 mg of ebastine as the active ingredient. Excipients are: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide.
Contraindications
Evastel is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ebastine or any of the components of the formulation. It should also be avoided in patients with severe renal insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of cardiac arrhythmias or those who are being treated with medications that may induce QT interval prolongation. The use of Evastel in combination with alcohol or other central nervous system depressants is not recommended. The use of this medication during pregnancy and lactation should only be considered if the benefit outweighs the potential risks.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
