Indications

Etoricoxib is indicated for the treatment of various painful and inflammatory conditions, including:

  • Rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Osteoarthritis.
  • Ankylosing spondylitis.
  • Acute pain, such as postoperative pain or dental pain.
  • Reduction of pain and inflammation in musculoskeletal conditions.

This medication works by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) enzyme, which results in a decrease in the synthesis of prostaglandins, responsible for causing inflammation and pain.

Composition

Each tablet contains:

  • Etoricoxib 90 mg.
  • Excipients: [specify excipients according to technical information].

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in the following cases:

  • Known hypersensitivity to etoricoxib or any of the excipients.
  • Patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

  • Severe renal insufficiency.
  • Uncontrolled severe cardiovascular diseases.

Precautions

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
