Indications
Erispan Compound Ped Solution is indicated for the treatment of various allergic conditions, including allergic rhinitis and other allergic manifestations. Loratadine, an antihistamine, acts by blocking histamine receptors, which helps relieve symptoms such as sneezing, itchy eyes, and runny nose. On the other hand, betamethasone is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and immune response, indicated in cases where there is significant inflammation associated with allergic reactions. This medication is used in children and should be administered under the supervision of a physician.
Composition
Each 5 ml of solution contains: Loratadine 100 mg and Betamethasone 5 mg.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with uncontrolled viral, fungal or bacterial infections. Its use is not recommended in children under 2 years of age without medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease. It is important to monitor patients on long-term corticosteroid treatment due to possible side effects. Erispan should also be avoided in combination with other medications that may increase the risk of adverse effects.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C, protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
