Indications

Durater is a medication indicated for the treatment of various conditions related to excessive acid production in the stomach. Its main indications include:

  • Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers.
  • Management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
  • Prevention of ulcers induced by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
  • Treatment of erosive esophagitis due to acid reflux.

Durater acts by inhibiting gastric acid secretion, providing relief to patients suffering from hyperacidity-related conditions.

Composition

Each Durater tablet contains:

  • Famotidine 20 mg.

Contraindications

Durater is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to famotidine or any of the formula's components. Caution should also be exercised in individuals with a history of severe liver or kidney problems.

Precautions

It is recommended that patients with kidney disease adjust the Durater dose, as drug elimination may be affected. Furthermore, special care should be taken in patients who are taking other medications that may interact with famotidine.

Storage

Durater should be stored in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Storage temperature should not exceed 30°C.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
