Indications
Calcium Sandoz +1000 is indicated as a dietary supplement for the prevention and treatment of calcium deficiencies in the body. It is used in cases of osteoporosis, as well as in situations where an additional calcium intake is required, such as during pregnancy, lactation, and menopause. In addition, it is recommended for patients with insufficient dietary calcium intake. The presence of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) helps improve calcium absorption and contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.
Composition
Each tablet contains:
- Calcium (as calcium carbonate) 1000 mg
- Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) 60 mg
Contraindications
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with hypercalcemia, severe kidney diseases, and in patients with calcium kidney stones. It should not be used in patients with metabolic diseases that increase blood calcium levels.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular diseases or kidney problems, as well as in those taking other calcium supplements or medications that may affect calcium levels in the body. It is advisable to monitor blood and urine calcium levels in patients undergoing prolonged treatment. The simultaneous consumption of other supplements or medications that may interact with calcium should also be considered.

- FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
