Indications
Bentabud is indicated for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, which may include symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, and rhinorrhea. It is also used in the management of nasal polyps in adult patients. Budesonide is a corticosteroid that acts by reducing inflammation and the immune response in the nasal mucosa, providing relief from symptoms associated with these conditions. It is important that its use is carried out under the supervision of a physician, who will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment for each patient.
Composition
Each ml of Bentabud contains 1.28 mg of Budesonide, and excipients necessary for the formulation of the nasal suspension.
Contraindications
Bentabud is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Budesonide or any other component of the formulation. Its use is not recommended in untreated upper respiratory tract infections.
Precautions
Special care should be taken in patients with active infections, pulmonary tuberculosis, or lung diseases, as well as in those with a history of gastric or duodenal ulcers. In case of adverse effects, a healthcare professional should be consulted. Prolonged use without adequate medical evaluation is not recommended.
Storage
Store at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
