Indications
Belara Luna is a hormonal contraceptive indicated for the prevention of pregnancy. This medication is used in women of childbearing age who desire an effective birth control method. Additionally, it can be used to regulate the menstrual cycle and treat menstrual disorders such as premenstrual syndrome. It is important that the use of this medication be under the supervision of a physician, who will evaluate if it is the most suitable option according to each patient's needs and characteristics.
Composition
Each Belara Luna tablet contains 0.02 mg of Ethinylestradiol and 2 mg of Chlormadinone, which work together to prevent ovulation and alter the uterine lining, thereby reducing the possibility of pregnancy.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, breast or endometrial cancer, among other medical conditions. Its use is not recommended in women with severe liver diseases and in those who are hypersensitive to any of the components of the formula.
Precautions
Special care should be taken in patients with cardiovascular risk factors, a history of migraines, diabetes, or hypertension. It is important to have regular medical follow-ups during treatment with Belara Luna, as well as to inform the doctor about any adverse effects that may occur.
