Vitamins Ad 6000/400 Units is a medication indicated for the prevention and treatment of vitamin A and D deficiencies, especially in situations where dietary intake may be inadequate. It is used in cases of malabsorption, liver diseases, and conditions that increase the need for these vitamins. Retinol (vitamin A) is essential for vision, the immune system, and skin health, while ergocalciferol (vitamin D) plays a crucial role in calcium metabolism and bone health. This product is especially useful in vulnerable populations, such as children, the elderly, and people with chronic diseases that affect nutrient absorption.

Composition

Each ampule of Vitamins Ad 6000/400 Units contains:
- Retinol (vitamin A) 6000 IU
- Ergocalciferol (vitamin D) 400 IU

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should also be avoided in individuals with hypervitaminosis A or D, as well as those with severe kidney disease.

Precautions

It is recommended to evaluate kidney function before starting treatment. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using this product, as an excess of vitamins A and D can have adverse effects on the fetus or infant. Patients taking other vitamin supplements are also advised to consult their doctor to avoid overdose.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
