Indications
Taxanit (docetaxel) is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer, after having previously received a chemotherapy regimen. It is also indicated in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer, metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, and in combination with other chemotherapeutic agents for the treatment of stomach cancer. Its use must be supervised by a medical oncologist, who will evaluate the suitability of the treatment and adjust the dose according to the patient's characteristics and response to the medication.
Composition
Each Taxanit ampule contains 80 mg of docetaxel, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and administration. It is important to consult the product leaflet for a complete list of the excipients used.
Contraindications
Taxanit is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to docetaxel or any other component of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with severe neutropenia (neutrophil count < 1500 cells/mm³) or in those with severe hepatic impairment. Likewise, it is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation, unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of allergic reactions, liver problems, or those who are receiving other oncological treatments. Hematological function should be monitored regularly. Patients should be advised about the possibility of side effects, such as alopecia, nausea, vomiting, and fatigue, and the importance of reporting any unusual symptoms to their doctor.
Storage
Taxanit should be stored at controlled temperature, between 15 and 25 °C, protected from light and humidity. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package. Keep out of reach of children.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
