Indications
Sulindac is indicated for the treatment of various painful and inflammatory conditions. It is used in the management of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and in the treatment of gout. Additionally, it may be useful in the management of postoperative pain or in situations of acute pain where an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect is required. This medication works by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are substances involved in inflammation and pain.
Composition
Each Sulindac tablet contains 200 mg of sulindac, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to sulindac or to any of the product's excipients. It should not be administered to patients with active gastric or duodenal ulcers, severe renal insufficiency, or those with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding. Furthermore, its use is contraindicated during the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Sulindac should be used with caution in patients with a history of asthma, cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, moderate hepatic or renal insufficiency. Renal function should be monitored in patients receiving prolonged treatment with this medication. Likewise, it is important to consider the possibility of allergic reactions and assess the risk of adverse events in the elderly population.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, and keep out of reach of children.
