Indications

Solural is indicated for rehydration and restoration of lost electrolytes in cases of mild to moderate dehydration, especially in situations such as acute diarrhea, vomiting, fever, or excessive sweating. Its formulation is designed to help restore the balance of electrolytes and fluids in the body, promoting the recovery of patients in dehydrating situations. It is particularly useful in children and adults who require rapid electrolyte replacement due to clinical conditions that cause fluid loss. Solural can be used as a complement in treatments for gastrointestinal diseases and in situations where fluid intake is insufficient.

Composition

Each 100 ml of Solural contains:

• Sodium: 90 mg
• Potassium: 78 mg
• Chloride: 80 mg
• Glucose: 2.7 g
• Purified water: q.s. 100 ml

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with severe renal failure, anuria, or in cases of severe dehydration where intravenous treatment is required. Likewise, its use is not recommended in situations of ileus or intestinal obstruction.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with heart or kidney disease, as well as in those with conditions that may alter electrolyte balance. It is important to monitor the patient's response to rehydration and adjust administration as needed. It should not be used as the sole source of treatment in cases of severe dehydration.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light. Once opened, it is recommended to consume the product within 24 hours and keep it refrigerated if necessary. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
